About PASC

The mission of the Pennsylvania Association of Student Councils is to offer year-round opportunities to develop and apply leadership and life skills for middle level and high school students throughout Pennsylvania. This goal will be accomplished by disseminating information for building effective organizations, recognizing individual and school achievements, supporting community service, and providing positive, enthusiastic forums for networking and sharing ideas. By promoting an increased awareness of these activities, we will strive for growth and diversity.

  • PAL Conferences - Principals-Advisors-Leaders gather every other year to set goals in a cooperative environment.
  • Summer Leadership Workshops - a unique and exciting week of leadership training for both middle level and high school students designed to model and develop leadership skills by inspiring creativity and enthusiasm.
  • Youth Summit in Harrisburg - a one-day opportunity in the Spring for students to meet state officials and debate current youth-related topics.
  • PASC trip to Nationals - the annual trip in late June is centered around the NASC/NHS/NJHS Star Leaders Conference and provides unity for the state delegation while participating in activities and experiencing local attractions.
